Our Mission

To provide an alternative claims resolution process that is independent and impartial, document-based review so as to encourage and assist parties in seeking a final and binding determination of a dispute on a clinical matter(s) in relation to an Integrated Shield Plan.

Overview

The CCRP will help to facilitate the resolution of IP claim disputes, including but not limited to

  • Rejection of claims for medically appropriate treatment or procedures;
  • Concerns on over-charging by doctors, medical institutions or clinics;
  • Concerns on over-servicing by doctors, medical institutions or clinics.

Management & Administration

The Academy of Medicine, Singapore (AMS) is tasked to develop and administer the CCRP in consultation with MHIC stakeholders.

AMS is a professional institution of medical and dental specialists devoted to advancing the art and science of medicine in Singapore through postgraduate specialist training; maintenance of high standards of competency and ethical integrity through continuous professional development as well as dissemination of information and knowledge to the public on matters related to health.
